Available with two or four shafts using a single or twin blade configuration, the FEBA Multi-Shaft Automatic Log Slitters automatically center the blade in relation to the outside diameter of the roll being slit (via sonar), automatically positioning the blade (via laser), regardless of its diameter, or how much has been removed during the grinding process, which is critical for the correct usage of an automatic blade axis angle and a CNC system. The benefit of these standard features is the cutting blade will automatically increase its penetration speed into the shaft when its diameter decreases during sharpening. Now, the operator only has to load the log or logs (manually or semi-automatically via the “Easy Load” trolley), recall the desired program, and hit the start button.
