F.E.B.A. Automatic Log Slitters

F.E.B.A. manufactures automatic single knife log slitters, double knife lathe slitting systems, mono and multi-shafted roll slitters, and sawing machines for the adhesive and non-adhesive tape markets, foam and rubber converters, textile manufacturers, producers of foils, protection films, paper, laminates and similar products. All models, from the small diameter F400, to the larger OD F600 & F700 now each incorporate 4 different levels of specifications, with the top level - level 4 providing the ultimate in precision CNC control. The Level 4 model is automatically able to position the blade in relation to the external diameter of the log being slit (via sonar); automatically self centering the blade (via laser), irrespective if it's diameter, or how much has been removed during the grinding/polishing process, which is essential for the correct usage of an automatic blade axis angle. This system will not only slash cycle times when loading different diameters of material, but also when the operator has to change blades. Level 4 machines can store 400 different slitting recipes and can also include PC connection for production supervision and set up while a standard modem link ensures immediate factory intervention should the need arise. Model F16C:
The model F16C single knife lathe slitter is an introduction slitting machine for small converters & low production requirements. The F16 will effectively slit a wide range of adhesive and non-adhesive materials with diameters up too 12" (300mm) and roll widths from 48" (1.200mm) too 63" (1.600mm) up too 82" (2.100mm).

Model F400:
The model F400 automatic log slitter was designed for high capacity adhesive tape converters and manufacturers. Materials like kapton, foils, films, pressure sensitive tapes and other difficult products up to 16" (400mm) in OD are normally slit on this machine. Standard features like blade & material speed range from 0--1,200 RPM, proportional penetration speeds, automatic blade 'AXIS' angle, and positioning tolerances of +/- .05mm make the F400 the most accurate slitting system on today's market.

Model F600:
The model F600 was designed for companies converting larger diameter materials (24" / 600mm) like foams and rubber, textiles, cork, gasket materials and similar products. Options like automatic front gate lfiting device, semi or fully automatic trolley log loading device, & automatic pneumatic shaft holder device create less operator fatigue due to size of the rolls being processed. Standard features like proportional penetration speeds, sonar & laser technology & automatic blade "AXIS' angle make this series the most versatile for diversified converters.

Model F700:
The model F700 has the same features as our model F600 yet it can slit materials like foams, textiles and other soft materials up too 28" (700mm) in outside diameters. Standard widths from 1.600mm (63") too 2.100mm (82.6") up too 3.100mm (122') on cores ranging from 3" up too 6" inside diameters.

Model 2L-350:
The model 2L-350 dual knife multi-shafted slitting systems is designed to slit, at the same time, two rolls of material 350mm (14") in outside diameter. Ideal for high capacity adhesive & non-adhesive tape converters & manufacturers. Standard features like sonar & laser technology, automatic blade positioning, proportional penetration speeds, automatic blade 'axis' angle, automatic pneumatic shaft holder device & semi-automatic trolley log loading device allows companies to achieve 1,230 cut rolls per hour (based on roll OD of 140mm / slit width of 2.9mm) as an example.

Model 2L-400:
The model 2L-400 is a single blade, multi-shafted roll slitter designed to slit two rolls of material up too 400mm (16") in OD at the same time. It was designed for high capacity converters of foams, textiles and other soft materials. Standard features include sonar & laser technology, automatic blade positioning, proportional penetration speeds, & automatic pneumatic shaft holder device.

Model 4L-400:
The model 4L-400 was designed to dramatically reduce the log changeover time. This model is equipped with a revolving turret which is fitted with four shafts, two of them will perfrm the slitting operation while the other two are loaded/unloaded, thus ensuring a non-stop working cycle. Maximum log diameters of 400mm (16") when equipped with a 450mm OD blade. This series is available as a semi-automatic machine or a fully automatic machine including the log loading, cut log unloading, packaging and carton filling making it a true production system.

Sawing Systems:
F.E.B.A. electronic automatic sawing systems suitable for cutting protection film tapes from reels wound with polypropelene, polyethelene and similar materials. Our sawing systems can be equipped with one, two or three slitting heads on single or multiple shafts for materials up too 550mm in OD and 2.800mm in width.
