| F.E.BA. F500 electronic automatic roll slitter suitable for slitting without rewinding a wide range of materials including: double sided tapes, rubber, foam, gasket material, nonwovens, cloth, foils, paper, glass fibers, films, filmic tapes, PVC, polyethylene, laminated and coated materials. This automatic roll slitter comes standard with a 700MM (28") OD slitting blade designed to slit materials up to 600MM (24") in diameter. Two unique features we can offer with our F500 roll slitter are: 1)sonar for the automatic reading of the outside diameter of the log and 2)laser which reads the outside diameter of the blade which decreases in size due to sharpening. These features allow for a fully automatic cutting cycle; load the log onto the machine and the system does the rest. The machine's movements are performed by an AC servo brush less motor which allows for four speeds of penetration: fast approach to the OD of the log, two speeds for the material and one for the core. In addition, we can offer this system with a modem link for machine monitoring and fault finding. This allows MSC the ability to access your system via modem connection if problems should arise.
