MSC offers the finest die cutting belt available for cutting a variety of materials including: gaskets, foam, rubber, textiles, automotive upholstery and similar materials. An extremely hard cutting belt, 94-98 durometer Shore D, is composed of five layers: the top layer is a nylon cosmetic cover, second layer is a 1mm thick nylon, the 3rd layer is cloth, the fourth layer is a 1mm thick nylon and then the final bottom cover. It provides a flat cutting surface that does not require penetration to successfully cut difficult materials. The long life of the belt (1,000,000 Impressions-Standard) can be acheived by the special belt shifting device and the automatic setting of mechanical positive stop all standard on ATOM cutting systems. On our CNC presses, belt changes are performed from the machine side as the belts are supplied as a continuous loop. On the Full Beam Presses, belts are supplied skived on both ends and then are spliced together in the field to form the endless belt. Our replacement belts are not only available for ATOM die cutting systems but can also be supplied on Herman Schwabe, Freeman, Bruno, SAMCO, Relco, Hudson, Sysco (Associated Pacific), Schoen and Sandt die cutting presses. Standard and Custom sizes are available.
In addition, M.S.C. recently purchased a belt vulcanizer for belt changes. Now our technical team can have a new belt installed within 4-6 hours of initial arrival.
