| The Flashjet 2000DA belongs to a new series of waterjet cutting systems designed to cut a wide range of organic and synthetic materials in single or multiple layers without the use of dies. This is the mid-range machine of Atom dieless cutting line which includes the Flashjet 2400 and Flashjet 1600SA. |
The high performance is achievable due to it's increased speed and special table structure making this system suitable for several industrial applications. This system is composed of a waterjet cutting station with three nozzles with variable distance automatically controlled by ATOM's unique nesting software.
The two-level automatic handling pallet was designed to unload the cut pieces on one pallet while the other is performing the cutting making it a true production machine. These pallets are available either with a steel mesh or with a special structure of steel pins designed to minimize the back-splashing effect and to help keep the material in place during the cutting cycle. 
Total safety and efficient soundproofing are ensured by a special protection cabinet equipped with safety switches all meeting European EEC standards. The system is controlled by nesting software, and is automatically or manually operated, for optimized layplanning of patterns. This highly efficient "shape within shape" nesting allows for maximum material yield and production. This system can also be equipped with a unique remainder cutting feature which was designed for customers who cut large shapes but are left over with the centers. In the past these centers had to be placed on a clicker press then diecut to optimize material yield. With the 1600, you can automatically cut irregularly shaped scraps of previous cuts. Once again, ATOM stands above the rest, due to it's speed and nesting capabilities, making it the ideal solution for the dieless cutting of single or multi-layered synthetic goods. |
