The ATOM Flashcut MH 40155 version dieless cutting system is equipped with a four-tool cutting head which includes one pneumatic or electric oscillating knife chuck, one milling-routing tool, one plotting pen and one pricker tool station. With the combination of the cutting knife chuck and milling tool, we can provide a perfect finish of the milled surface and then cut the outer shape contour of the part without the need of changing out tools as you would on standard single head cutting stations. Materials like foam, rubber polymers, acrylics, plastics, penolics, light metals (aluminium) & alloys (copper & brass) can be milled with exceptional accuracy & quality. The milling chuck is equipped with an automatic dust (shavings) extraction system to leave the cutting surface free of dust and scrap. The pneumatic oscillating knife chuck can cut very hard materials like tang graphite (1 & 2 Layers of Steel), 1/8" non asbestos, composites, and similar products making the MH version a highly versatile cutting system for all industrial sectors.
