HOT MELT ROLL COATERS, RT SERIES

Hot Melt Roll Coaters, RT Series, are used to apply hotmelt adhesives to sheets, foam, and corrugated goods. This roll coater is available either as an open roller machine or can be equipped with an optional driven feedroll system. For coating hand held parts, the open roller configuration is used. Parts are passed over the roller and can be bonded immediately. The driven feed-roll system is used for coating wide parts, sheets and thin parts. With the feed-roll system, the machine can coat parts from .020" to 6" thick. This series is available in three widths: 13", 26" and 40".

VERSATILE ¨ Feed-roll position is adjustable in both vertical and horizontal directions. This allows coating of parts up to 6" thick as well as coating of thin sheets ¨ Feed-roll can swing out of the way, making the RT series roll coater an open roller machine. This configuration is ideal for coating large blocks or hand held parts. ¨ Tank equipped with inlet port to allow feed from a pre-melt system (for high volume usage).
PIVOTED COATING MODULE ¨ The entire coating unit and doctor blade are mounted to the frame that can pivot upwards for full access to the melt chamber and agitator roll. This allows debris that may accumulate to be easily cleaned out, and also makes it simple to clean out and parts that may get carried into the tank area.
