The HB 4000 series offers top of the range hot melt equipment using the most up to date technology in the industry. The HB 4000 units were developed to meet each end users specific application requirements. This ensures that each customer has their specific needs addressed in the most efficient and economical manner.

When choosing HB 4000 applicators, the most progressive and economical hot melt systems are used. One controller option is the multi channel microprocessor. This option has the following features:
 A seven day clock to turn the unit on and off at pre-set times.

10 heating cycle options.
Ability to adjust adhesive amounts by a given distance and time (+/-0.04 in) at maximum speed of 1200 ft./min.
Individual control of four heads with up to 99 different programs per head.
Automatic shut down if a short circuit occurs, avoiding damage to the equipment.
A second option is the modular temperature controller. This option allows individual control of each function; tank, hose and gun. Having the flexibility of individual control optimizes the controllers accuracy to +/- 1°F.

    Gear pump
    This variable speed electric DC pump allows a constant flow of hot melt to be pumped for precise adhesive applications.
    This pump is available in four sizes:
    10.5 lb/h; 21.1 lb/h; 42.2 lb/h; 84.5 lb/h.

    Accessories
    HBB also has all standard hoses and applicator heads and will help to design special applicator heads for specific customer needs.

    Piston pump
    The double action pump provides rugged virtually maintenance free operation. Hot melt adhesive can be pumped with a low as 0,2 bar (3 psi) air pressure and as high as 6 bar (90 psi) delivering 72 bar (1080 psi) at the nozzle. The pump compression ration is 1:12.
